November’s featured artist is someone who I met through volunteering for Type Kita, collaborated on some events and a fellow arts and crafts enthusiast. She’s none other than Jullien Olay!
Featured Artist of the Month: November
She is Jullien “Yen” Olay, and hails from Cavite. I met her through Type Kita when we volunteered for the event called Pass on the Passion. Currently, she works freelance and currently doing calligraphy specializing on baybayin. She’s also part of DnY Arts & Crafts where I bought my awesome baybayin phone cover.

More About Jullien
Did you have struggles in pursuing the craft? If yes, could share it to us please.
I guess everyone would really face a struggle since insecurity is always at the corner. And I, as one of the founder of D&Y Arts and Crafts, the common struggle I always have is the execution part. The battle of bringing the planning stage to the timeline.
Identity and Purpose.
